Arti, you are so frikken awesome for making this thing. <3. So much <3.
Hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving! No, I haven't neglected this thing, I promise. And I even have some news!
Everyone saw the new website I assume. Thank Sara if you get a second to see her online.
Robin and I were in touch. She's got some time off from school, so she's working on some sketches. Once we get those, we'll go from there.
I think the first issue is as good as it's going to get. I was going to try and get as far ahead on it as I could but, well, I don't want to go any further until Robin and I can figure out the script process. What works for her, etc. etc. If anyone has any interest in reading the Prologue, feel free to ask.
Note: If Anyone can think of a job that would require world travel of both a man and his wife (she can be unemployeed) please let me know. It doesn't have to be high profile. But I need a reason for Mr. Hayes and His wife to always be out of the country.
Sara and I have been in touch. She had a great idea. Since a lot of our insiration from MLW comes from our Albany-city upbringing, Sara suggested getting pictures of some of our favorite locations to show Robin. I love the idea and I think finding cool places will help us think up some neat places for a fight scene. Sara suggested a church visable off 787 where our villians would chill. I mentioned how the first issue, I keep picturing the side streets off Lark. I also know we have based past stories in the lake house by the park.
Feel free to recommend any other places you can think of. (I was thinking of doing the mall under the Egg too.) Any hidden corner of the city you can think of. I would love to flesh out Beverwyck as much as possible.
